SkySyndicate

Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of the SkySyndicate website and application.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of SkySyndicate, including https://skysyndicate.app, https://app.skysyndicate.app, and the services made available through them (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

SkySyndicate is operated by Kerberos Computing Limited, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC611150.

Email: support@skysyndicate.app

2. What SkySyndicate provides

SkySyndicate provides software designed to help flying syndicates manage groups, aircraft, bookings, flight records, costs, and related information.

SkySyndicate is a management and record-keeping tool. It does not replace official aircraft records, required technical documentation, aviation regulations, or your syndicate's own operating procedures.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account details up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us as soon as possible.

4. Groups and syndicate data

A SkySyndicate group represents a flying syndicate or other aircraft-sharing group.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to create, join, or manage a group and to submit information relating to its members, aircraft, pilots, or operations.

Information entered by members of a group may be visible to other members of that group.

5. Aircraft subscriptions

SkySyndicate subscriptions are charged per aircraft.

The core subscription currently costs £15 per aircraft, per month. VAT is not added to this price.

One member is responsible for billing for each aircraft. Billing responsibility can be transferred to another member.

When billing is transferred, the incoming payer will not be charged until the existing paid period ends, so the same aircraft is not charged twice for the same period.

6. Payment and renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Payment is collected using our payment provider. Stripe is used for all payments.

You are responsible for ensuring that valid payment details are available for any aircraft subscription for which you are the payer.

If payment fails or a subscription otherwise becomes inactive, access to paid aircraft functionality may be restricted until billing is resolved.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel an aircraft subscription at any time.

Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and the aircraft remains active until that date.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may also have statutory cancellation rights under applicable consumer law.

Where you ask us to begin providing the Service immediately after purchase, provision of the Service will begin during any applicable statutory cancellation period.

8. Flight costs and syndicate bookkeeping

SkySyndicate may calculate flight costs and amounts owed to a syndicate using information configured by members, including aircraft rates, wet or dry rate settings, landing fees, and fuel costs.

These calculations are provided as a bookkeeping aid only.

SkySyndicate does not collect, transfer, or settle payments between syndicate members unless expressly stated otherwise.

Figures entered as group costs or calculated as amounts owed remain the responsibility of the relevant syndicate and its members.

9. Aircraft information, defects, and maintenance

SkySyndicate allows users to record information such as aircraft hours, landings, maintenance limits, defects, and operational status.

This information may depend on data entered by users and should not be treated as confirmation that an aircraft is airworthy, legal to operate, or compliant with maintenance requirements.

Pilots, owners, operators, and syndicates remain responsible for verifying aircraft status, airworthiness, and compliance using the appropriate official records and procedures.

10. Flight records and tech logs

SkySyndicate can store flight records and generate PDF technical-log-style exports.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these exports are intended as a convenience and record-keeping aid. They are not guaranteed to satisfy any particular regulatory, maintenance, or legal record-keeping requirement.

You remain responsible for maintaining any records required by law, regulation, an aircraft maintenance programme, or your syndicate's procedures.

11. Accuracy of user-provided information

Much of the information shown in SkySyndicate is entered or maintained by users.

We do not independently verify aircraft information, bookings, flight records, costs, defects, maintenance information, or other data entered by users.

You should verify information where accuracy is important to flight safety, regulatory compliance, financial decisions, or aircraft operation.

12. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or another user's account;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service;
  • introduce malware or other harmful material;
  • misuse another syndicate's information or invite code;
  • upload content that is unlawful or that infringes another person's rights;
  • falsely represent your identity, authority, or relationship with a syndicate;
  • use SkySyndicate as a substitute for complying with applicable aviation law or regulation.

13. Your content

You retain ownership of information and content you submit to SkySyndicate.

You give Kerberos Computing Limited permission to host, process, store, and display that content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide and operate the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit information concerning other people, aircraft, or syndicates.

14. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we cannot guarantee that SkySyndicate will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We may need to suspend or restrict parts of the Service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

We may also improve, replace, or modify features over time. We will not intentionally make material changes to an active paid service in a way that unfairly deprives consumers of what they have paid for.

15. Intellectual property

SkySyndicate, including its software, design, branding, and other proprietary materials, belongs to Kerberos Computing Limited or its licensors.

These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

You may use the Service only for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to those rights, Kerberos Computing Limited is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of SkySyndicate.

SkySyndicate is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information entered by users, or by reliance on the Service instead of appropriate official aviation records, procedures, or professional advice.

Where permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the affected Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

17. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • you materially breach these Terms;
  • use of the Service creates a security risk;
  • we are required to do so by law; or
  • payment for a required subscription remains outstanding.

You may stop using SkySyndicate at any time.

Deleting or leaving a group does not necessarily cancel an aircraft subscription. Subscription cancellation should be completed through the relevant billing controls.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business operations.

Where a change materially affects your rights or an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.

The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of the country in which you live, including any rights you may have to bring proceedings in your local courts.

Subject to those consumer rights, the Scottish courts will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
