Add an aircraft
Aircraft belong to a syndicate group. When you add an aircraft, you'll enter its operational details and then complete checkout to activate its SkySyndicate subscription.
- Open Aircraft → Add.
- Enter the aircraft details, including its group, registration, manufacturer, model, hourly rate, rate type, hours, maintenance dates and any other required information.
- Select Add Aircraft.
- Complete checkout to activate the aircraft subscription.
If you leave checkout before completing payment, the aircraft will remain inactive. You can return later and select Complete Payment to finish setting it up.
Edit or remove an aircraft
Aircraft details can be updated directly from the aircraft page. Select the pencil icon beside a detail to edit it - pressing Enter or the tick icon will save your changes.
To remove an aircraft, use the Remove option from the aircraft page. If the aircraft has an active subscription, removing it will also cancel that subscription.
Log a defect
Defects are recorded against the aircraft so everyone in the group can see current and previous issues.
- Open the aircraft and select Log Defect.
- Enter the summary, description, date observed and any optional notes.
- Save the defect.
You can also log a defect while recording a flight.
Billing
SkySyndicate costs £15 per aircraft, per month. One member is responsible for billing for each aircraft, and that responsibility can be transferred to another member when needed.
If an aircraft does not yet have an active subscription, you can either select Complete Payment to activate it.
If you are responsible for billing, you can manage the payment method associated with the aircraft. Removing the aircraft will also cancel its subscription.
If another member is currently responsible for billing, select Take Over Billing and follow the checkout process. Your billing period will begin when the existing member’s current subscription period ends, avoiding any overlap in charges.
